Theresa Briscoe is the founder of Significant Others Ministries, a Wichita, Kansas based organization dedicated to rescuing those chained to a lifestyle of sexual exploitation and bring awareness to the body of Christ. Theresa herself knows the reality of being sexually exploited. After running away from an abusive home at the age of 13, she found herself homeless and afraid. Over the next decade and a half she was trafficked as a prostitute, continually running away, searching for help. For years she was brutally exploited and victimized. Her experience provides an indepth understanding of the complex traumas related to sexual exploitation and motivates her to train the body of Christ to empower them to reach the women in their cities that are victims of sexual exploitation through her workshops.
Come hear her speak on May 20th at 7:00 PM at the Scott Community High School about her experiences and how Christ has made her a new Creation. Parents will learn the importance of speaking positive identity over their children in this intense, yet uplifting presentation.
Because of the graphic and traumatic nature of Theresa's story we are asking that only adults come to this presentation.
